The 1992 introduction to Blenkins Build/Allan Blenkins (BBAB) was via a recommendation from a structural engineer informing that “the best builder on the Gold Coast” lived across the road from our newly acquired family home. So commenced a successful and enduring association with the Blenkins family.This association started with the build of a protective high walled courtyard and then progressed through to a complete refurbishment of a 50s brick home followed by a challenging new site, new home build on an iconic Tugun site. The progression moved into forays with commercial restoration and new builds for my family company. This 30 year association provided witness to many other projects which all showcased the high professional standards and outstanding craftsmanship delivered by BBAB. The attention to detail and willingness to rise to any challenge was always exemplary.
BBAB has been recognised by peers with numerous awards and accolades, all of which have been richly deserved. These skills and knowledge are now being passed onto Cameron who is taking the reins and adding further skills in technical drawing, information technology and computer savvy.

He has also added an extension to the main building for an additional commercial kitchen. He is also currently starting another extension through to an adjoining shop.
